Get your Love Island Locks with Tangle Angel
Lucie’s Surfer Beach Waves
For boho beach hair like Lucie’s with that tousled, texturised effect you get from saltwater, a sea salt spray is perfect for creating an on-trend beachy effect. Fuzzier, messier and a little less defined, leave hair to air dry naturally, spritz it in through the lengths and ends and scrunch with your hands for an effortless, minimal wave. We love L’Oreal Professionnel’s Wild Stylers Beach Waves (£11.25).
Maura’s Ring Girl Curls
Soft, undone waves are the ultimate date night look, and in the villa it’s date night every night. This look is effortless and pretty while still looking stylish and works well with any outfit!
Wherever the braids are, the waves are; for super easy waves with a crimped effect, start by braiding your hair whilst damp and sleep with them in overnight. Next morning, run your fingers through the braids to break them up and smooth over with a little oil or serum for added shine (we love Richard Ward Chelsea London Argan Elixir, £5.99). Remember – the looser the braid, the looser the wave.
Molly-Mae’s Undone Top Knot
This hairstyle is perfect for those lazy days when you want to make minimal effort but still look good. For Molly’s edgy top knot, start by adding some texture to the hair with a texturizing powder (we love L’Oreal’s Super Dust, £10.99).
Pull your hair into a high pony and have it as messy as you wish. Divide your ponytail into two and wrap the sections around each other in opposite directions. Then, wrap this around the top of the ponytail and use bobby pins to secure the knot into place. Gently pull out pieces on the top of the bun to create an even messier look.
